Some of your favourite Netflix movies and shows now offer a chrome extension to enhance your language learning skills. So, this chrome extension allows you to watch movies and shows with two subtitles at the same time. Also, it offers subtitles in a wide range of languages including Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and Turkish. 

Moreover, this tool works best for those individuals who have some familiarity with the language they seek to improve. However, this can still be helpful for those with little to no exposure to the language they seek to improve, so don’t be discouraged! So, Netflix’s Chrome extension offers a vocabulary-highlighting feature. This highlights less common words in grey, allowing you to match them to your vocabulary level. Additionally, you can manually highlight words, and this will pop-up a dictionary. From there one can click on the word to hear it again or to simply slow down dialogues to follow more easily. 

This extension is free to use, and new features are in the works! The only downside is that it is solely available through Google Chrome. Search their catalogue and find out if your favourite show or movie is offered and start learning.
